Sanggup ke balai polis untuk menegakkan ketegasan pelaksanaan disiplin sekolah

Sebagai GPK HEM, saya memang tidak bertolak ansur dalam hal menangani masalah disiplin sekolah!!!

Setelah amaran dan bimbingan diberi, jika masih terdapat pelajar yang terlalu degil mematuhi peraturan sekolah,maka hukuman dalam bentuk merotan akan dikenakan.

Saya sanggup ke balai polis untuk menegakkan ketegasan pelaksanaan disiplin sekolah dan ini memang berlaku setelah seorang pelajar dirotan dan dia memanggil abangnya membuat laporan di Balai Polis Mentakab. Saya menerima cabaran ini dan saya berpuas hati dengan pendirian pihak polis kerana polis juga tidak bertolak ansur dalam hal membaiki mutu disiplin pelajar-pelajar era ini.

Dengan sokongan pihak polis, saya rasa penegasan pendirian saya adalah benar dan saya akan terus tegas dalam usaha menangani masalah disiplin pelajar di SMK Hwa Lian Mentakab!

Saya tetap memberi sokongan padu kepada semua guru yang bersungguh-sungguh menangani masalah disiplin pelajar!!

盛大参演12场《宝镜》音乐剧
2008北京奥运虽已落幕，但其开幕精彩盛大的场面，仍深刻烙印在每个人的心田，尤其是奥运典礼中的精英舞蹈员，每一位宏伟动人的舞姿，最令人赞叹不已，这些舞蹈员原是来自北京舞蹈学院，自演罢奥运会的典礼，这群20位舞蹈精英目前正紧锣密鼓在排练，将于11月27日至12月14日莅临马来西亚云顶国际歌剧院盛大参演由「观音基金会」主办的《宝镜》音乐剧，剧情精彩百出，掌声再次响起。
《宝镜》音乐剧，乃是一部长约100分钟的原创音乐剧，由50位汇集中国与大马舞蹈、歌唱、戏剧界的精英联合演出，其中最引人注目的是来自北京舞蹈学院的精英舞蹈演员，他们可谓是中国舞蹈界的精英中的精英，此次将到来大马参与「观音基金会」主办的《宝镜》音乐剧的演出，实属难能可贵，并由中国一级舞蹈家于晓雪担任导演，带领这群北京舞蹈学院的精英呈献一个耳目一新，集歌、舞、音乐剧为一体的舞台表演。

Calon PMR dilarang membawa telefon bimbit

Semua pelajar Tingkatan 3 dilarang membawa telefon bimbit ke sekolah semasa pepriksaan PMR dijalankan mulai minggu depan. Amaran itu disampaikan dalam satu taklimat kepada semua calon PMR SMK Hwa LIan Mentakab diadakan pada 9 September 2008 bertempat di Dewan Xiang Gui.

Diharap semua ibu bapa dan penjaga memberikan kerjasama, jangan membenarkan anak mereka membawa telefon ke dalam dewan pepepriksaan. Mereka boleh rujuk kepada jadual peperiksaan PMR untuk membawa anak mereka ke rumah selepas setiap sesi peperiksaan.

No more taking it easy once Rexy's new plans take off

KUALA LUMPUR: There will be no room for slackers once national doubles chief coach Rexy Maina-ky's big plans for the future take off.
Shaping up well: Doubles coach Rexy Mainaky (centre) is hoping that Koo Kien Keat (left) and Tan Boon Heong's recent win in Macau will raise their confidence level.
Rexy wants to create a more competitive environment to add quality in the doubles department, comprising the men, women and mixed players.
In other words, doubles shuttlers can forget about taking it easy during training sessions.
In fact, he will conduct a review every four months to choose the best players for international tournaments.
Besides their commitment, the shuttlers' attitude in training will also be taken into account.
"In the past, we always reviewed the players' performances based on their results. This time, I also want to look at their commitment and quality in training as I prepare them for the next Olympic Games," said Rexy after a coaches' meeting at Stadium Juara in Bukit Kiara yesterday.
Rexy, who was among the coaches who turned up for the meeting, presented his programme for the players gearing up for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
"I will also review their attitude in training. All these will be considered in deciding players for international tournaments. I expect the training ground to be more competitive. Every four months, I will conduct a review of these players."
Currently, several back-up players and junior pairs from the Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) are training with the country's top two pairs €" Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong and Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari-Mohd Zakri Abdul Latif.
This arrangement €" of the elite, the second stringers and juniors training together under one roof €" is likely to be adopted if it is endorsed by the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) when the national body unveil their coaching and training stucture soon.
The second stringers in the team are Ong Soon Hock-Hoon Thien How, Mohd Razif Abdul Latif-Tan Wee Kiong, Tan Bin Shen-Khoo Chung Chiat and Gan Teik Chai-Woon Lin Fooi while the juniors are Chow Pak Chuu-Poh Chao Boon, Goh Wei Shem-Ong Jien Guo and Mak Hee Chun-Teo Kok Siang.
Rexy said their new back-up combinations of Soon Hock-Thien How and Razif-Wee Kiong had shown good progress after upsetting several top pairs in recent tournaments.
He noted that Bin Shen-Chung Chiat could also make their mark if only they would put in more work in training.
Although the pool of players was huge as far as the men's doubles was concerned, Rexy said the best hope for the country for now were still Kien Keat-Boon Heong and Fairuzizuan-Zakry.
Kien Keat-Boon Heong and Fairuzizuan-Zakry will compete in the back-to-back Super Series Denmark Open (Oct 21-16) and the French Open (Oct 28-Nov 2).

文德甲华联中学和学生家长交流会

淡属文德甲华联中学校长萧永耀呼吁学生家长协助校方处理学生纪律问题，尤其是确保自己孩子准时上学，穿整齐校服及不留长头发等基本的严守校规要求，以便学生不会继续的被记过。

“家长投诉校方不时针对某一些学生采取纪律行动是不正确的，因为校方在给予犯过学生警告及辅导后，方会正式采取纪律行动，同时也会照会学生父母或监护人，以群策群力克服学生纪律问题！”

萧永耀校长是于日晚8时在华联中学会议室和众学生家长交流时，发表谈话如是强调。是项校方和学生家长交流会是由淡属文德甲华联中学家教协会所主办，由校方协调。

他说，那些纪律分数上升的学生，他们除了接受校方辅导老师辅导，其父母也被通知前来校园和校方学生事务部商讨其孩子问题，他欢迎学生家长随时前来学校和校长及所有老师商讨学生学习进展问题。

另一方面，该华中学生事务部副校长林日汉披露，犯大过的学生会被令暂时停课5天至14天，是由教育部所规定，其原因是让父母了解孩子纪律问题，同时把握时间和孩子沟通，促进亲子关系，父母万不可认为是校方增加他们的负担！

他说，当孩子在校犯了大过如涉及殴斗及涉及不道德行为等，校方会慎重的要求父母参与辅导孩子，不让孩子继续的犯错。

他指出，当校方认为是时候让频频犯大过的学生转换学习环境时，校方会召开纪律委员会会议，正式的将有关犯大过学生开除，但这不表示校方会毁了学生的前途。他披露，根据教育法令，对于被开除的学生，教育局是会指示另一所学校收留他们，让他们在新的学习环境重新学习。

他披露，华联中学开学至今经开除了不下4个学生。一些家长也在校方劝导下将孩子转换学习环境。

他指出，为了教育学生严守纪律，校方不得不鞭打男学生屁股，而鞭打学生的权力是由教育部授权校长委托学校纪律老师执行任务。

与会的学生家长们在会上积极发问，由校长萧永耀及林日汉副校长一一回答。与会的家协理事王志润对于华联中学主动通过家协和学生家长对话，深表欣慰。他说，校方和家长的真诚合作，最终是让学生受惠，真正的教育学生成长！

会上，纪律老师也和与会的学生交流，给予真确辅导。华联中学家协也在交流会会上准备茶点招待众人。

文德甲佛教会提供108包血浆不分彼此救人

文德甲佛教会于昨日 早上9时至下午2时在其位于文德甲新村会所举办其第27届慈悲捐血运动，获得108善心人士响应，落实佛教慈悲教育。

佛教会多位理事及佛友是“身经百战”的捐血常客，每当佛教会举办慈悲捐血运动，他们必以身作则，发挥慈悲心布施血液，成为该会捐血人数的一份子。其中资深理事陈炳藩 （60岁），捐献了32次的血液，他希望自己身体继续安康，拥有福报捐血。他说，他拥有“O”型血液，是医院血库最欢迎的血液，每个病者都能接受的血液！

文德甲佛教会副会长黄培昌捐血达35次，他发愿每3个月捐血一次。属“O”型血液的他希望医院病者获得血液供应后离苦得乐，为患病的苦难者尽一份心意。他说，各区医院血库正因为在回教徒斋戒月期间，面对血液供应不足难题，因此，他是非常乐意的在这非常时期布施一些血液。

该佛教会年轻理事也不落人后，其中包括了秘书朱荣华及理事李谆章等人。朱荣华捐血达16次，他对于本身有福报捐献血液，深表欣慰。李谆章布施血液达13次，他对于佛教会发动慈悲捐血运动，让更多善心人士前来布施血液救人，他最表支持。此外，特地从瓜拉吉扰前来捐血的李金全共捐血达43次，他是亲自带了3个孩子前来捐血，以身教教育孩子发挥慈悲心捐血。

另一方面，文德甲佛教会会长林日汉披露，该佛教会于27年前就展开慈悲捐血运动，属于华人社团积极推动捐血运动的先驱，如今该会是淡马鲁苏丹阿末沙医院血库的合作伙伴，每一年会选定于开斋节前夕举办慈悲捐血运动，以让该医院血库储备充足的血液过节，让急需血液救命的病者拥有足够的血液养命。属B+型血型的他经捐血达24次。

他指出，淡属华人社团于回教徒斋戒月期间不分彼此捐血，是履行国民的责任，属爱国的行为。

淡马鲁阿末沙苏丹医院血库官员查玛丽雅指出，文德甲佛教会的慈悲捐血运动，让医院血库储备了108包血浆，可让该医院的病者于开斋节假期期间拥有足够血浆养命，各佛友及善心人士的捐血布施善举，是令人钦佩的。

KUALA LUMPUR: The national badminton coaches will come out with their recommendations of players for the elite and back-up squads after this week's Macau Open.
And the top men's pair of Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong have a good chance to regain the confidence of the selectors by retaining the title in the championships, which begin today.
It is important for them to produce performances that will give coach Rexy Mainaky no reason to break up their two-year-old partnership.
After crashing out in the second round of the China Masters last week to upcoming Chinese pair Sun Junjie-Xu Chen, there has been a further drop of confidence on their ability to stamp their marks again on the world stage.
The Asian Games champions dominated the scene in 2007, winning the prestigious All-England and five other Open titles €" in Malaysia, Switzerland, Macau, the Philippines and Denmark.
The Badminton Association of Ma­­laysia's (BAM) general manager, Kenny Goh, who had been appointed as the co-ordinator to finalise the coaching and training programmes towards the 2012 London Olympics, said there would be a meeting with the coaches after the Macau Open.
"The coaches will have to come out with their recommendations of players for the London Olympics. We will have a joint meeting with the NSC (National Sports Council) after that," he said.
"Then, it will be up to the BAM coaching and training committee to endorse our proposed structure and squads."
"Probably for some coaches, the performances of their players in the Macau Open will help them to make a decision on who they want to recommend or on who they want their players to partner with."
In the absence of many top pairs, Kien Keat-Boon Heong should not face major problems to live up to their top billing.
They have in their half of the draw China's He Hanbin-Shen He, Hong Kong's Albertus Susanto Nyoto-Lok Kei Lo, Indonesians Fernando Kurniawan-Lingga Lie and two Malaysian back-up pairs, Mak Hee Chun-Teo Kok Siang and Lim Khim Wan-Chan Peng Soon.
The other half has second seeds Fang Chieh-min-Lee Sheng-mu of Taiwan, China's Sun Junjie-Xu Chen and Malaysians Chan Chong Ming-Chew Choon Eng, Ng Kean Kok-Hong Chieng Hun, Goh Wei Shem-Ong Jien Guo and Chow Pak Chuu-Poh Chai Boon.
Malaysian shuttlers also hold top seedings in the men's singles (Lee Chong Wei), women's singles (Wong Mew Choo) and women's doubles (Fong Chew Yen-Mooi Hing Yau).
Meanwhile, Malaysia's Mohd Ha­­fiz Hashim is one of the several men's singles players to withdraw from the tournament at the eleventh hour.
The others are Indonesian Simon Santoso and second seeded Chinese Bao Chunlai and compatriot Chen Jin.
Their withdrawal has made it easier for Chong Wei to win the title.
Mew Choo can also breathe easy following the withdrawals of second seed Wang Chen of Hong Kong, China's Wang Yihan, Jiang Yanjiao and three Indonesians €" Maria Kristin Yulianti, Pia Zebadiah Bernadet and Fransisca Ratnasari.

华联学生捐血救人

淡属文德甲华联中学年满17岁的非回教徒学生于回教徒斋戒月期间捐献血液救人，每个人皆认为其人生第一包血浆捐得最具意义！

就读该校5F班的陈联顺指出，他首次得悉自己属B+血型，他首次捐血，感觉非常有意义。他说，他不知他的血液会捐给那一个病者，但是他知道他会就到别人的性命！

今年属5B班的陈荣富指出，他获知校方举办捐血运动，就事先填写表格，要求父母同意，而属A型血型的他捐献了其生平第一包血浆后，感觉愉快！

就读5C班的黄泳镇也是属A型血型，他捐血后，感觉做了一件很光荣的善事，感到自豪！他说，能够为社会尽一点棉力，是光荣的！

2名从预备班升上中四班的蔡伟隆（17岁）及林国雄（17岁）皆是非常自愿的验血及通过体格检验捐献了他们生平第一包血浆。

就读4K班的蔡伟隆（ O型血液 ），他只是要捐血救人，非常自然的捐献其血液，而其捐血时也不敢到害怕。他说，他希望他的第一包血浆能够救人活命！

就读4J班的林国雄指出，他属B型血液，能够响应校方捐血运动，他感到高兴。他说，他通过检验之后，就自然而然捐献其血液，希望能够救人一命。他说，能够为社会尽点心意，他感到高兴。

51个华联17岁中学生捐出生平第一包血浆

淡马鲁苏丹阿末沙医院血库于回教徒斋戒月严重面对血液供应短缺，向淡属各中学非回教徒中五学生求救，上百男女中学生发挥爱心，纷纷捐出其人生第一包血浆！

善心捐献人生第一包血浆的男女中学生包括了淡属文德甲华联中学的华裔及印裔17岁学生，他们于捐献第一包血液之前，必须得到其父母的同意。

查玛丽雅亲自联络校方多次，希望校方鼓励年满17岁的非回教徒学生于回教徒斋戒月期间捐献血液救人，结果校方响应该医院血库号召，成功获取51包学生血液！

“校方非常欣慰年满17岁的中学生们在其父母的同意之下，响应捐血行善义举，以实际行动行善，学习服务人群及懂得回馈社会！”

他说，学生们拥有救人为怀的情操最为可贵，而其这种情操才是教育的本质！

另一方面，淡马鲁苏丹阿末沙医院血库负责官员查玛丽雅感谢淡属文德甲华联中学在校园举办捐血运动，以鼓励年满17岁的中学生们捐献其血液。她说，华联中学是学生捐献血液人数最多的其中一所中学，而中学生的血液可帮助该医院血库渡过血液不足的难题。

“每逢回教徒斋戒月，因回教徒不能捐血，医院血库面对血液供应不足问题是相当严重，而院方也通过华人社团积极主办捐血运动，如于本月28日（星期日）早上9时至下午2时，文德甲佛教会会在其会所举办第27届慈悲捐献运动。”

Berhenti merotan?

Walaupun Kementerian Pelajaran menurunkan kuasa kepada guru-guru disiplin melalui pengetua untuk merotan pelajar yang bermasalah disiplin, guru yang melaksanakan kuasa merotan itu kadang-kadang boleh mendapati diri dalam keadaan yang susah.

Pelajar yang dirotan akan sengaja membiarkan anggota badan lain dirotan tanpa disedari guru disiplin tersebut,dan akhirnya didadapti tempat yang dirotan berluka. Maka, pelajar berkenaan akan memanggil abangnya dan saudara maranya datang ke sekolah untuk memaksa guru meminta maaf.

"Patutkah guru disiplin meminta maaf?"

Patutkah guru disiplin teruskan tindakan merotan terhadap pelajar-pelajar yang sengaja mencabar peraturan sekolah?

Untuk maklumat semua, Peraturan 5( 1 ) ( b ), Peraturan-Peraturan Pelajaran ( Disiplin Sekolah ) 1959, di bawah ORDIANAN PELAJARAN 1957, semua guru disiplin yang diturunkan kuasa merotan oleh tuan pengetua berhak merotan pelajar-pelajar untuk menegakkan disiplin di sekolah.

Pemberian Markah Merit Dikurangkan

Didapati ada pelajar yang mengambil kesempatan menggunakan markah merit, maka markah merit yang maksima dikurangkan ke 5 markah sahaja. Contoh, seandainya seseorang pelajar tidak melakukan salahlaku pada bulan September ini, markah merit yang dia layak pada bulan tersebut ialah 5 sahaja.

Pelajar yang membantu guru juga hanya layak menerima markah merit 5. Syaratnya, pelajar berkenaan mesti melakukan kerja amal itu di luar waktu belajar dan bukan pada waktu rehat.Contohnya pelajar yang membantu guru kauselor hanya boleh melakukan kerja amal di luar waktu belajar.

Kerja-kerja amal yang dilakukan harus diawasi guru berkenaan pada waktu bukan sesi persekolahan. Ini memang satu cabaran kepada guru.

Markah merit 5 markah untuk pelajar :-
Menyiapkan kerja majalah sekolah : 5 markah
Menolong kerja kaunselor : 5 markah
Kerja keceriaan sekolah : 5 markah
Sukarelawan : 5 markah

Keputusan tersebut diambil dalam Mesyuarat Lembaga Disiplin SMK Hwa Lian Kali Ke-9 pada 23 September 2008 untuk mengelakkan penyelewengan penggunaan markah merit.

Diharap guru-guru disiplin tegas menjalankan tugas dan jangan membiarkan markah demerit pelajar meningkat dan masih tidak boleh membuat apa-apa!

诚邀合家前来参与2008淡属华团中秋园游庆典

中国四川变臉大师韦健将变臉及不倒翁绝技呈献于明晚2008年度华团中秋大汇演，淡属华团联合会欢迎淡属各民族合家老少前来观赏，将华族的中秋庆典变成大马庆典文化之一！

淡属华团联合会会长拿督黎天发指出，四川变臉是中华独特舞台艺术，华团特别邀请变臉大师韦健将变臉及不倒翁绝技呈献给淡属各族，尤其是友族们观赏。他说，很多友族对于中华艺术深感兴趣，而淡属华团会尽量将最好的中华舞台艺术推介给众人。他指出，来自吉隆玻的舞龙艺术团也会将舞龙艺术呈献给众人，尤其是于明日傍晚6时45分在文德甲民众大礼堂草场开走的中秋大游行，舞龙与舞狮属个艺术团会带领上千各民族进行中秋大游行。

他说，华团联合会准备了上千灯笼于现场送给每一名民众，让大家高高兴兴手提灯笼游行。

2008年度中秋园游会筹委会主席董则坤吁请各族民众于游行后，于晚上7时45分前来文德甲中华华小礼堂观赏中秋园游会大汇演，除了舞龙表演，著名的中国四川变臉艺术，不倒翁演出，中华杂技表演，中华扯玲表演，Progression 劲舞及淡属华青团的24节令鼓演出，淡属华团也首次和淡属警方合作，将警方扑灭社会罪案的舞台表演呈献给大家。

他说，筹委会也安排了沙巴的土族呈献民族舞及大马3大民族传统舞蹈，节目非常丰富之余，也注重团结，推广中秋庆典为大马文化。是晚的开幕嘉宾是企业发展与合作社部副部长拿督赛夫丁，他是于3月8日中选为淡马鲁区国会议员后，首次为淡属华团主持中秋仪式。

Expose youngsters to international tournaments, BAM urged
KUALA LUMPUR: National shuttler Lee Chong Wei is feeling all alone in Tokyo although he has a lot of friends in the world badminton fraternity.

The Beijing Olympic Games silver medallist Chong Wei is fed up of being the only player to keep the Malaysian flag flying high in international tournaments.

He's hoping that the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) will start sending out youngsters to join him in international tournaments.

He noted that, except for Malaysia, all the other top badminton nations had taken the trouble to send their young players to the Japan Open.

"Just look at China. After the Olympic Games, they decided not to send their top players but they took the opportunity to send several youngsters to the Japan Open,"said Chong Wei in a telephone interview yesterday.

"They are already planning for the future. This exposure will do a world of good for the youngsters."

Yesterday, Chong Wei and Japanese Kenichi Tago ended the challenge of the last two of China's youngsters when they defeated Qiu Yanbo 21-17, 21-17 and Lu Yi 21-18, 21-17 respectively in the quarter-finals.

The other early casualties from the China camp were Zhu Weilun and Gong Weijie.

"South Korea, Denmark and Indonesia also sent their youngsters to the Japan Open. But for Malaysia, I am here all alone. It would have been good if some of the youngsters were here," said Chong Wei.

South Korea were represented by Hong Ji-hoon while Indonesia tested their youngsters Tommy Sugiarto and Alamsyah Yunus.

Saya seorang pencinta badminton Malaysia dan amat berbangga dengan pencapaian BAM dengan kemenangan Lee Chong Wei dalam Olympic Beijing baru-baru ini!
Namum, usaha gigih BAM perlu diteruskan dengan penghantaran pemain-pemain back up ke semua kejohanan antarabangsa. Rexy sudah sedar tentang perkara ini dan bergu back up kita kurang menghadapi masalah TETAPI bukan pada pemain single back up kita! Mereka jarang didedahkan ke arena antarabangsa!

Kita hanya ada 10 pemain single back up : Kini ,kita tidak tahu ranking sesama mereka : Yang kita peminat dapat perhatikan ialah :
Alif ( selalu didedahkan atas ciri tertentu ), Tan Zhun Xiang, Cheong Wei Feng dan Liew Daren bergilir-gilir dihantar ke tournament kecil sahaja ; Lim Fang Yang, Chan Kong Ming, Lok Chiah Jie , Mohd Hafiz dan Loo Yik Xiang sering disimpan dalam negara.

Apa yang dibimbangkan oleh Lee chong Wei memang berasas : Jepun telah dedahkan Tago ( pernah dikalahkan oleh Lim Fang Yang dalam Kejohanan Asia Junior 2007 ) dan Tago telah berjaya memasuki Semi Final Japan Open 2008 setelah peluang diberikan! Negara China , Indonesia,Denmark dan Korea sudah mula berusaha bersungguh-sungguh mendedahkan Juniornya ke arena antarabangsa...China mahu cari pengganti Lin Dan, kita Malaysia jangan tunggu lagi!

Taipei Open: Back-up pairs impress in Taiwan

REXY Mainaky's decision to expose back-up pairs to the international scene has given momentum to the national doubles squad and the latest results from the Taiwan Open is testimony of the potential these players possess.
None of the senior pairs were in action at the Taiwan Open and early round exits were expected from the back-up pairs but to their credit, they proved otherwise and staked strong claims for further exposure.

Two pairs — Razif Latif-Tan Wee Kiong and Hoon Thien How-Ong Soon Hock — have stood out and, not surprisingly, both made the semi-finals in Taiwan.

Razif-Wee Kiong, who focused on the mixed doubles last year, are only playing in their third competition as a pair and their latest results should see them improve their world ranking from 86th into the top 60.

It is their second semi-final appearance after having reached the same stage in the Singapore Open in June and Rexy has already seen plenty of potential in this combination.

Thien How-Soon Hock also reached their second straight semi-final which they also did in the Indonesia Open.

The other back-up pairs who played in Taiwan are Asian Junior champions Mak Hee Chun-Teo Kok Siang and Khoo Chung Chiat-Tan Bin Shen who lost in the first and second rounds respectively.

There are two other combinations — Goh Wei Shem-Ong Jian Guo and Chan Peng Soon-Lim Khim Wah — and they have been entered for the upcoming China Masters on Sept 23-28 and the Macau Open on Sept 30-Oct 5.

Rexy said it is important to focus on the younger combinations early so that they will have enough quality pairs to support Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong and Zakry Latif-Fairuzizuan, who look to be the only senior combinations who will be part of the 2012 London Olympics programme.

"We have to expose them so that they will have enough experience when the London Olympics comes around. The back-up pairs have been showing good progress and have a lot of potential," said Rexy.

"It is also good to see that they have been pushing the seniors in training and also in local tournaments.

"A couple of years ago, the seniors would win hands down but it has become tougher for them to beat the back-up pairs. Some have even beaten the seniors and this is a very healthy situation," Rexy has already said that Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah are not part of his future plans and the veteran pair will serve as sparring partners for the next six months. The Gan Teik Chai-Lin Woon Fui combination could also be dropped.

The current situation looks to be ideal for Razif-Wee Kiong and other back-up pairs to grab their opportunities, make quick progress and become quality pairs, and eventually challenge the seniors for a place in the London Olympics.

Exposing back-up pairs to the international scene is the right move but back up single players have not much chance to be exposed.

BAM should give more power to Rashid so that he can send more back up single
players in the international scene, just like Rexy does. Lee Chong Wei is an solid example. No one can become champion without being exposed. Do not let our back up single players always stay at home.

这几天在茶店听到这么一个故事 ，人人都感兴趣 ：

“ 有那么一则故事，某一天，一个见义勇为的年轻女居民看见一毛贼正勒索一老人，还将老人推到。。。

该居民马上报警，并帮助该老人。。。

毛贼见该女居民胆敢报警及号召众人包围他，他马上发怒，口出狂言及以脏话大骂众人！

众人期望警方尽快赶来把有关毛贼绳之以法，但是。。。。。

警方是来了，警方却将该年轻女居民抓了，理由是激怒了毛贼，让他的叫骂声破坏了地方上的安宁。。。。

毛贼被其家人警告一番，在3星期内不可再胡乱骂人！毛贼没事！

可怜被推倒的老人，还是无助的躺在病床上。。。

可怜的年轻女居民，被抓后，家人只能看她数分钟。。。虽然众居民全力支持及维护她！

她为什么被抓？这是很多人不明白的故事。。。。

后来当局说是要保护该年轻女居民的生命安全，因为她的报警引起当事人不满，警方获知有人会杀害她，所以就于第一时间抓了她，以保护她，而不是先抓当事人。。。。

警方太好了，先保护报警者，然后才做出其他行动，报警人生命安全最重要。。。

数小时后，警方放人了，该年轻女居民的生命是安全了，警方万岁！”

故事是明白了！你明白吗？

大家都认为有关故事和最近发生的“华人寄居论”事件发展非常相似，大家都非常同情及全力支持有关女记者，对于有关女记者最后被释放，大家都欣慰，大家都为她祝福。。。

大家尚认为故事还没结束，毛贼又会如何被处置？那无辜的老人的命运又如何？

大家都希望听尚未结尾的故事。。。。。

淡属文德甲华联中学建校委员会主席蔡文祥州议员感谢各赞助人热烈支持该校第3期建校计划，成功于823 百花齐放话华联金禧庆典晚宴筹获超过100万令吉的建校基金，以期建设一座多元化冷气讲堂。

他说，淡属文德甲华联中学在林葭芳出任董事长后，于6年来不断的发展该校的硬体建设，成功建设了祥桂多元化大礼堂，5座新校舍，增添了学校行政设备及美化了校园，为莘莘学子提供了了舒适的求学环境！
